Job Title: Construction Lead
Location: Bendovan Area
Reports To: Project Package Manager
Role Purpose:
The Construction Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all construction activities for the construction of a Bundle Base in the Bendovan Area. The role ensures that construction is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning & Execution
o Implement construction execution plans, schedules.
o Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
o Oversee site preparation, civil works, structural, mechanical, and electrical installations.
• Site Management
o Act as Subsea7 representative onsite,
o Supervise construction activities for:
Main Base: Pipe storage yard, welding and testing workshops, maintenance facilities.
Site Camp: Office building, accommodation units, canteen, utilities, and supporting infrastructure.
o Interface and coordinate with EPC Contractors.
o Management of change, with support from the office.
• Safety & Compliance
o Enforce HSE standards and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
o Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks.
• Quality Assurance
o Monitor construction quality and ensure adherence to engineering drawings and specifications.
o Coordinate inspections and testing with QA/QC teams.
• Team Leadership
o Manage Subsea7 Site team and EPC Contractors.
o Resolve technical and operational issues promptly.
• Reporting
o Provide daily/weekly progress reports to the Project Manager.
o Track and report on schedule, cost, and resource utilization.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction management within Oil & Gas projects.
• Proven experience in site development, camp construction, and industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HSEQ standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Competencies:
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, and mechanical works.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
