We currently have an opportunity for a Construction Engineer role. This position is based in Onshore - Margham
Job Title: Construction Engineer
Target Start Date: April 2026
Minimum Duration: Two (2) Years
Work Schedule: Minimum of 5 days per week / 9 hours per day (Subject to change; Contractor is expected to work the hours necessary to complete the tasks on schedule, this may result in working extra hours for which no extra compensation will be paid as it is calculated into the overall rate.)
Base Work Location: Onshore - Margham
Key Accountabilities
Review contractor construction submittals such as method statements, work packs, and concrete casting plans in sufficient detail to allow construction activities to be planned and executed in a safe and efficient manner.
Work with contractor’s design team and Company engineering team to review constructability of design and attend field survey and onshore meetings for project implementation
Ensure fabrication activities are planned and executed to meet the requirements of the installation program.
In conjunction with the contractor to establish the supervision, manpower and equipment requirements for each work package and ensure these are implemented on site
Monitor contractor progress against schedule and provide recommendations for corrective actions and improvement
Educational Qualifications:
A degree or technical diploma related to construction and installation in an engineering field.
15+ years of relevant experience including at least 5 years’ experience in onshore Oil & Gas facilities.
Comfortable communicating with and have an ability to influence all levels of the organisation.
Multi-discipline technical subject knowledge and competence in civil, mechanical, piping, and Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I).
Comfortable in supervising site based daily construction activities.
Work effectively with multi-national team.
Good to have a valid United Arab Emirates (UAE) driving license.
