We are seeking an experienced Construction Division Manager (LQ) for a major Oil & Gas project. This position is base in India – Hazira.
 
Minimum requirements
Manage the planning, preparation and execution of all aspects of the construction requirements for the project, ensuring all key objectives are achieved or exceeded. In addition, ensure that constructability and install ability of the design are achievable using best established industry processes. Effectively manage construction phase through strong interfaces with both company and contractor teams. Responsible for managing the fabrication activities of NFPS Compression Platforms up to sailaway to ensure objectives are safely met within the approved scope and schedule.
Role is accountable for effective management of overall planning, preparation and execution of NFPS Compression project scope, ensuring safety, cost, quality and schedule commitments are met, together with the stewardship of the contract ensuring delivery of all execution aspects in accordance with project requirements and risk-based evaluations.
Ensure delivery of NFPS Compression Project scope in accordance with agreed schedule and budget, while maintaining close liaison with Project Management Team (PMT) and alignment on project execution plans, needs, objectives, and requirements.
Focal point at site, for promoting and implementing safety on construction site. Implement the safety observations reporting and monitoring.
Uphold and own safety performance of all construction and execution activities throughout project duration, inspiring safety commitment in employee and contractor teams through demonstrable safety leadership and compliance with all safety, health and environmental procedures and policies in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment. 3. Manage the fabrication team and keep the team committed to targets defined by the project management.
Direct work in full compliance with Standards of business Conduct and company Project Management System (PMS) and assess contractor capability to fulfill requirements, ensuring PMT or other technical support is available to address gaps.
Manage the execution schedule and critical milestones, effectively negotiating changes to scope, developing recovery/contingency plans, addressing any delay, ensuring execution timing of the workscope is in accordance with approved project schedule.
Provide execution data (narrative, charts, graphs, etc.) for the monthly progress reporting and stewardship in respect to the delivery of construction activities.
Develop effective relationships with contractors, stakeholders and customers ensuring alignment on project delivery including interface agreements and execution plans.
Implement the Management of Change (MOC) process for all aspects of the project execution with responsibility for encompassing previous lessons learned, capturing and communicating new lessons learned.
Cooperate with review teams and support post-audit activities with respect to contract administration and subcontracting process improvements.
Ensures overall compliance with Construction Execution Plans, specifications, and procedures by promoting effective communication and team working together with best practice sharing to improve operational efficiencies.
Verify yard fabrication progress milestone on routine basis, analyse progress key areas of concern and propose mitigation measures.
 
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
 
Knowledge and Experience
12 years’ experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, fabrication, execution, completion, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 3 years of management level experience in Construction relayed disciplines, engineering, or project management with overall responsibility for an EPC execution.
Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
Broad and extensive knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, as applicable to the project scope.
Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
Extensive knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
Proven track record of Project delivery in the industry and managing EPC contractors and sub-contractors.
Excellent track record in construction safety results.
