Job Purpose
The Construction Data and Logistics Coordinator for our major Oil and Gas client is responsible for supporting construction project activities through effective coordination of personnel and material logistics, document control, training records, data entry, and general administrative support. The role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across construction sites and engineering teams.

Job Purpose
The Construction Data and Logistics Coordinator for our major Oil and Gas client is responsible for supporting construction project activities through effective coordination of personnel and material logistics, document control, training records, data entry, and general administrative support. The role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across construction sites and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Health, Safety, Environment, and Operational Integrity standards by ensuring procedures are understood and followed in the workplace.
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of tenders, purchase requests, and quotations in collaboration with engineering and construction teams.
- Provide logistical support for site visits, material deliveries, and routine site services.
- Manage the flow, filing, and tracking of project documentation, contracts, and quotation records.
- Monitor, update, and maintain site training records for employees and contractors.
- Coordinate IT-related requests for the construction team.
- Maintain and manage contractor master documentation registers.
- Coordinate site visitor meal arrangements as required.
- Collect, review, and submit timesheets for the site construction team.
- Coordinate pre-mobilization requirements for new construction personnel prior to site deployment.
- Internal: Engineering teams, construction teams, and logistics support functions.
- External: Contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
Education:
- High School Diploma or Technical Certification in a related field.
- Prior experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably within construction or engineering environments.
- Strong experience using electronic document management systems and databases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience working in multicultural teams within the UAE.
- Ability to work in remote or desert-based site locations.
- Valid UAE driving license or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience with Oracle or similar enterprise systems is an advantage.
