We are currently sourcing experienced Piping Construction Management Coordinators on behalf of one of our major industrial clients for a mega-energy construction build in the Edmonton region. These contract roles require hands-on site coordination, active contractor oversight, and direct mechanical execution management across both Day Shift and Night Shift operations.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Owner Representation: Serve as the Owner’s field eyes and ears, ensuring contractor compliance with project specifications, execution quality, and site safety standards.
- Workplace Coordination: Monitor daily field progress, resolve workface constraints, and manage discipline interfaces across piping, structural, mechanical, scaffolding, and insulation scopes.
- Contractor & Schedule Governance: Track daily physical progress against schedule milestones, verify field-level reporting, and validate resource utilization.
- Completions & Pre-Commissioning: Oversee hydrotesting, flange management, system walkdowns, punch-list resolution, and mechanical handover readiness.
- Shift Operations & Handovers: Drive off-shift execution (Night Shift) or regular site interfaces (Day Shift) and ensure clean, accurate shift-turnover documentation.
- Trade / Technical Credentials: Interprovincial Red Seal Steamfitter/Pipefitter preferred, or relevant Engineering/Technologist background.
- Experience: 10+ years of industrial piping field coordination, supervision, or Owner/EPCM site representation on major oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial facilities.
- Technical Depth: Deep knowledge of process piping systems (ASME B31.3), high-pressure gas trains, utility distribution, or process unit execution.
- Digital & Planning Literacy: Proficient in reviewing construction packages (CWP/IWP), isometrics, and P&IDs; experienced with field management software (Procore, Navisworks, Bluebeam, SAP).
- Location: Local to the Edmonton area and willing to commute locally.
