We are looking for a Communications Specialist to work for a major oil and gas operator in Central London on a contract basis.
The role will be supporting a new joint venture to manage both internal and external communications, helping strengthen the company’s reputation, employee engagement and corporate brand. The role requires a professional who can work independently, manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
Location: London, UK
Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable)

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement internal and external communication strategy and plans aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare and manage communication materials, including press releases, executive communications, presentations, newsletters and corporate content.
- Manage internal communication channels, corporate website content and digital communication initiatives.
- Coordinate corporate events, town halls and employee engagement activities, working with others from Operating Companies.
- Support media relations and liaise with external communication agencies and key stakeholders.
- Ensure consistency of the company’s corporate identity, messaging and branding requirements across all communication channels.
- Provide communication support to senior management and manage communication projects with a high degree of autonomy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or internal communications.
- Experience in an international corporate environment is preferred.
- Experience in the energy or industrial sector would be an advantage.
