Commissioning Lead (Electrical) - Offshore

We are currently looking for an experienced Commissioning Lead (Electrical) to support a major offshore LNG development project.
The successful candidate will lead and manage all electrical commissioning activities during preparation and execution phases, ensuring safe delivery within approved scope and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead offshore and onshore electrical commissioning execution activities
• Manage commissioning schedules while ensuring compliance with SIMOPS and safety requirements
• Supervise EPC contractor commissioning teams and ensure methodologies are properly implemented
• Manage system completion, walkdowns, and PSSR activities for electrical systems
• Ensure readiness of commissioning spare parts and special tools
• Support development of commissioning procedures, method statements, and check sheets
• Ensure compliance with LOTO, PTW, JSA, cybersecurity, and electrical safety procedures
• Coordinate closely with engineering, hook-up, interface, and operations teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences
• Minimum 8 years of experience in large Oil & Gas or LNG projects
• Strong experience in electrical commissioning for offshore facilities
• Experience with LV/HV systems, transformers, UPS, emergency power distribution, protection relays, and subsea power systems
• Strong understanding of commissioning execution, systems completion, and startup support
• Familiar with ATEX/IEC standards and LOTO procedures
• Experience managing EPC contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in multicultural project environments
