Commissioning Lead (COMP9 & 2 Telecom/ Cyber Security)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Lead (Telecoms/Cyber Security) to oversee telecom systems commissioning activities for a major LNG project in Qatar.
This role will act as the discipline focal point during offshore execution, ensuring compliance with project standards and successful delivery through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead telecom commissioning activities across EPC phases (construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning)
• Provide technical oversight on telecom systems including CCTV, PAGA, telephony, radio systems, and access control
• Review contractor documentation, procedures, and redlines
• Participate in FAT, SAT, and site testing activities
• Evaluate technical deviations and ensure compliance with project standards
• Support project schedule, milestones, and recovery planning
• Interface with EPC contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure readiness for asset handover to operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences
• Minimum 8+ years commissioning experience in Oil & Gas
• At least 1 year in a supervisory/lead role
• Strong expertise in:
  • Telecom systems (CCTV, PAGA, Telephony, Radio)
  • Networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Cyber Security)
  • Fibre optic & copper cable testing
• Experience in large-scale LNG / offshore projects
• Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, completions, and PSSR
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (P&IDs, GA, datasheets)
