SECTION 1: POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: SDC Commissioning Completions Lead
SECTION 2: KEY ROLE
This role is for the Shah Deniz Compression (SDC) project which will build a new Normally Uninhabited Installation (NUI) to be installed in the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan. The role will be based in the selected engineering contractor office and selected fabrication facility in Baku (Azerbaijan) and offshore for the greenfield and brownfield hook up and commissioning.
The SDC Commissioning Completions Lead will support the SDC Commissioning Lead with safe and efficient delivery of Greenfield and Brownfield Commissioning readiness, Contractor oversight, MC acceptance, pre-commissioning, commissioning and alignment /coordination with the facilities’ Operations teams for the SDC project. The Commissioning Completions Lead will be expected to set the highest standards in HSE and quality and promote and role model the bp approach of “Who We Are”.

Line Manager: Commissioning Manager
Functional Lead: Commissioning Lead
• Demonstrate personal HSSE leadership and excellent HSE behaviours at all times and ensure that safety expectations are communicated and maintained.
• Maintain Master of Limit of System Handover (LOSH) drawings.
• Manage and coordinate teams of Completions Engineers and Project Completion Database Administrators.
• Manage and control the Project MC/PC System Handover Database.
• Ensure all Engineering data for upload into Completion Database is verified as valid.
• Ensure all allocated checksheets/ITRs for upload into Completion Database is verified.
• Ensure appropriate Completion Database / SHMP training is provided for BP employees and contractors involved.
• Comply with the SHMP process from Mechanical Completion through to System Handover.
• Ensure that all certification requirements (MC/PC) are being timely met by discipline teams.
• Run management reports as required from the Completions Database.
• Issue MC/SH dossiers for handovers.
• Ensure all required project As-Built drawings are red lined/Green lined for Back Draft to Engineering.
• Provide advice, coaching and training to Azerbaijani National personnel.
SECTION 5: ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION /QUALIFICATIONS.
• Extensive Completions/Certifications experience in Major Projects is essential.
• A high-level of communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience of effectively interfacing and working together with Design / Construction and Commissioning Contractors and Operations entities.
• Experience with HSSE issues related to on-site activities.
• Deep understanding of bp Construction & Commissioning Defined Practices for both Greenfield and Brownfield projects and the latest international standards.
• Experience with diverse work forces would be highly desirable.
