Coating & Insulation Supervisor – Fabrication Yard (China)
Contract Position | Rotational | Oil & Gas / LNG Sector
We are seeking an experienced Coating & Insulation Supervisor to join a major international oil & gas project at a fabrication yard in China (Nantong, near Shanghai).
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise coating and insulation works on large-scale modular fabrication.
Promote and enforce HSE culture, ensuring strict compliance on site.
Monitor quality execution, review QC documentation, and challenge contractors where required.
Ensure adherence to approved drawings, procedures, and ITPs.
Oversee equipment, raw materials, and workforce performance.
Focus on cold insulation, fireproofing, and high-volume coating activities.
Maintain strong site presence and attend production meetings.
Rotation & Location:
8 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.
6-day working week.
Based in China (fabrication yard, north of Shanghai).
Requirements:
NACE CIP Level 3 or FROSIO Level 3 certification.
Minimum 10 years’ Oil & Gas experience, including LNG exposure.
Proven expertise in thermal insulation (hot and cold).
Fluent Chinese language skills (mandatory).
Strong communication skills in English.
