Clinical Data Project Manager

This role supports the execution of digital strategies and the delivery of digital health initiatives used in clinical trials, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to bring innovative digital solutions to life.

The team enables the development, validation, and implementation of digital health tools and digital endpoints that support evidence generation, treatment evaluation, and strategic decision-making across the company’s portfolio.
This role supports the execution of digital strategies and the delivery of digital health initiatives used in clinical trials, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to bring innovative digital solutions to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Digital Strategy Lead in developing digital strategies and novel digital endpoints
- Contribute to patient insight research, technology evaluations, usability testing, vendor qualification, and validation of digital health tools for use in clinical trials
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Therapeutic Area teams to implement digital strategies aligned with asset and clinical development strategies
- Support analytical validation studies of digital tools, ensuring compliance with PFDD, DDTQ, CTTI guidance, and applicable federal and international regulations (GCP, ICH), as well the company’s SOPs and quality standards
- Stay current on evolving regulations, guidance, and policies related to digital health and clinical development
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders including vendors, Business Technology Solutions (BTS), Procurement, Regulatory, Legal, and Quality Assurance to enable digital tool qualification
- Manage multiple digital initiatives using strong project management practices, including creation of project plans, trackers, milestone reporting, and monitoring scope, budget, and timelines
- Identify business needs and support the development of reports, SOPs, publications, and presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred background in life sciences, clinical research, public health, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (BS) in pharmaceutical, healthcare, consulting, or medical device industries
- Solid understanding of the drug development process, including ICH and GCP requirements
- Experience or exposure to clinical development, data management, health outcomes research, or regulatory science
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Planisware, or Smartsheet
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and value-evidence mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience creating high-quality presentations and slides is a plus
- Self-starter with the ability to navigate a highly matrixed and complex organization
