Clinical Aesthetician Analyst II
Onsite – Irvine, CA
Length of the assignment: 1 year with an opportunity to extend
Hourly Pay Rate: $36-39/hr (medical benefits available at a cost)
Hours: M-F (Regular business hours 8/9 AM – 4:30/5:30 PM)
Job Responsibilities:
The Analyst II, Clinical Aesthetician supports all of the activities in the Skincare Clinical Research & Innovation Center (SCRIC), including operational activities, clinical studies and case studies in support of Skincare products and materials. This individual determines and pursues courses of action necessary to meet clinical goals and objectives.

What years of experience, education, and/or certification is required?
Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (science field preferred) and must have a valid Aesthetician license, equivalent, or higher in the state of work (CA).
Licensed Aesthetician in CA (2+ years experience)
What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification?
Knowledgeable on Good Clinical Practices, Experience in Clinical Research, comfortable with instrumentation and/or imaging systems and technology
What is the environment that this person will be working in (i.e. group setting vs individual role)?
Group and Individual – Will be working as a team to design and prepare documents for clinical studies but must be able to work independently on tasks (such as study participant appointments).

Job Responsibilities:
The Analyst II, Clinical Aesthetician supports all of the activities in the Skincare Clinical Research & Innovation Center (SCRIC), including operational activities, clinical studies and case studies in support of Skincare products and materials. This individual determines and pursues courses of action necessary to meet clinical goals and objectives.
- This incumbent is responsible for participant care and administration of cosmetic/aesthetic procedures following Skincare and clinical research protocols and good clinical practices.
- They utilize clinical expertise and instrumentation (camera systems, spectrophotometers, etcetera.) to subjectively and objectively evaluate participants in clinical and case studies
- Creates Source Documents and forms for participant charts.
- They support all recruitment activities.
- They author and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for SCRIC and treatment protocols for new and existing Skincare products.
- They support data management activities such as data entry, QC, data analysis, and creation of graphs, etc.
- Supports image organization, export, analysis from clinical studies and compiles data for review. Presents Clinical Research data.
- Maintains SCRIC Product Inventory and equipment/instrumentation.
- Additional responsibilities include managing adverse event reporting, medical inquiries and general medical affairs issues, as appropriate.
- Must have general knowledge about the skin and licensed to perform cosmetic aesthetic treatments on the skin.
- Must have general computer skills including Microsoft Professional Suite (such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be comfortable with using and/or learning to use new technology.
- Must be organized, have good attention to detail, and able to follow good documentation practices.
- Must be comfortable interacting with participants.
- Experience with GCPs is preferred.
