We are seeking a highly experienced Civil/Structural Supervisor to oversee construction activities for a major onshore LNG project in Mozambique. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to safety in a large-scale, remote project environment. You will ensure that all civil and structural works are executed in compliance with project requirements, quality standards, schedules, and safety procedures.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Civil/Structural Supervisor to oversee construction activities for a major onshore LNG project in Mozambique. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to safety in a large-scale, remote project environment. You will ensure that all civil and structural works are executed in compliance with project requirements, quality standards, schedules, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise civil and structural construction activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications, methods, and schedules.
- Inspire a strong safety culture on-site, promoting adherence to HSE policies among contractors and teams.
- Provide technical oversight, monitor progress, verify work quality, and report potential risks or incidents immediately.
- Coordinate closely with EPC contractors, sub-contractors, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of works.
- Participate in construction planning, method statement development, and resolution of technical issues to prevent schedule or cost impacts.
- Inspect works per approved quality surveillance programs and contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication across multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery of fit-for-purpose facilities.
- Degree or diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field; relevant Oil & Gas construction experience preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of practical civil and structural experience in industrial plants, with strong knowledge of technical codes and standards.
- Demonstrated experience on large-scale industrial projects with a solid understanding of safety, quality, cost, and schedule management.
- Strong leadership, analytical skills, and ability to adapt in a dynamic, remote environment.
- Excellent English communication skills; Portuguese or French advantageous.
- Rotational position in a remote site with limited infrastructure and communications.
