A leading international fine spirits importer and distributor is seeking a Cheif Accountant/Finance Manager for their offices in Central London, ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.

The Finance Manager will be the head of the finance department, reporting to the Finance Director.

The Finance Manager will support, manage and supervise the finance department. The primary role is to produce accurate and timely monthly cashflow forecast, sales report and management accounts, yearly financial statements and produce annual budgets and reforecasts during the year and provide other regular and ad-hoc financial analysis as and when required.

The role requires a hands on approach, proactive and self motivated with a positive mind and team development experience.

  • Reporting - to produce and submit reports in an accurate and timely basis
  • Fund management - forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational
  • Budgeting - assist/prepare/manage and submit budget reports and forecast report in a timely manner
  • Cost control
  • HR Support including payroll
  • Manage and maintain admin/accounts matters in pension, healthcare insurance, company credit cards, company mobile phones, car leasing
  • Inventory management
  • Cost accounting
  • Liaise with Managing Director and all departments with upcoming queries and day to day operations
  • Attend monthly HOD meeting and ad hoc meeting when required
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Experience within the alcohol/beverage or related industry - preferred
  • PQE within a commercial or similar environment
  • SME experience essential
  • Excellent people skills

  • Strong IT skills - essential
