Chemist Daily Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute assigned laboratory tasks utilizing standard procedures and technical understanding of various techniques to complete assigned tasks.
- Independently generate precise, reliable and reproducible data in a timely manner.
- Document the experimentation per the regulatory requirements.
- in-lab support for formulation development activities for multiple pipeline projects
- Demonstrate experimental precision and strong data interpretation skills and should possess understanding of core scientific discipline.
- Develop protocols for more complex tests or experiments performed with less defined assays and parameters.
- Ensures safety requirements are met when performing tasks.
- Ensures timely delivery of high-quality precise data.
- Applies basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and instrument related systems.
- Presents findings of defined experiments to larger audiences.
- BS/BA in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology or related field with minimum 5 yrs lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred) or master’s degree with 0- 2 yrs lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred).
- Experienced use of analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, dissolution, KF and chromatography data systems (i.e., Empower, Openlab, or Chromeleon).
- Hands-on analytical experience in a pharmaceutical industry lab.
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity of GMP, GLP. Able to present experimental findings to larger groups. Strong communication skills.
