Cables T&I Engineer

We are looking for a Cables T&I Engineer outside of IR35 for a major wind operator in central London 3 days a week and 2 days WFH. 

12 months + duration starting  in August. 

Your responsibilities:
 
You will lead the engineering and execution scopes for the Inter-Array Cable (IAC) Transport and Installation (T&I) scope for our development project Mona in the UK.
As the IAC T&I Lead, you will:

• Report to the IAC Work Package Manager (WPM) 
• Support the WPM in the technical management of the IAC T&I scope;
• Be specifically responsible for the safe and efficient technical execution of the IAC T&I works;
• Ensure that the IAC T&I contractor technically executes the works as per the quality standards set up within the Projects;
• Interface closely with the EPC work packages, as well as defining the T&I Contractor requirements, reviewing supplier deliverables and ensuring the the package is executed within budget, schedule and technical requirements;
• Efficiently interface with all other technical work packages (OSP, Electrical, Export Cable, Geo, etc.) as well as other internal stakeholders regarding the IAC scope specific requirements. Demonstrable interface management during project design phases is essential;
• Take on the technical leading role with the T&I Contractors tendering the works during the bid phase, the clarification and negotiation phase and thereafter the contract execution phase;
