C & P Senior Method Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Method Engineer to support a large-scale LNG development based in Maputo, Mozambique. The role is embedded within the Contracts & Procurement (C&P) team and will focus on harmonising procedures, strengthening internal controls, supporting audit readiness, and ensuring high-quality reporting across the procurement function.


🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Organise, update and implement C&P procedures and referential documentation


Lead and coordinate contract committee sessions and compliance training


Oversee MPP (Monthly Procurement Plan) consolidation and reporting on a weekly and monthly basis


Maintain and update MPP guidelines and ensure consistent use across teams


Monitor key procurement KPIs and publish internal reports (weekly, monthly, yearly)


Support internal control activities and coordinate responses to audit and SOX-related requests


Perform internal audits of C&P processes and recommend corrective actions where necessary


Facilitate communication across C&P and technical entities; manage internal mailing and access lists


Assist with implementing organisational changes affecting supply chain processes or personnel


✅ Requirements:

Minimum 4 years’ experience in Contracts & Procurement, ideally within the Oil & Gas sector


Solid understanding of procurement procedures, audit support, and internal controls


Proficient in managing reporting cycles and using business analysis tools


Strong communication, organisational, and coordination skills


Ability to lead process updates, deliver training, and promote procedural compliance


Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
