We currently have an opportunity for a Business Support Lead role. This position is based in Qatar onshore.
Good to have experience in Oil and gas Project Management Team (PMT) experience.
Position tittle: Business Support Lead
Contract Duration: 36 Months
Work location: Qatar Onshore – Doha
Working Schedule: 8 -10 hrs/day
Working days/week: 5days/week
Leave rotation: 12 weeks on /2weeks off
Job Purpose
Provide operational support to the Project Management Team (PMT), particularly the Business Manager in relation to company internal processes and procedures, ensuring efficient operations and alignment with project deliverables.
Coordinate Lessons Learned and Risk Management Processes and facilitate implementation.
Minimum requirements
Responsible for business aspects related to risk management, PMS, lessons learned, and issues management, to contribute to the project delivering its objectives on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Advises PMT on the PMS process and ensures all aspects of each Gate deliverable is produced in a timely manner.
Contribute to the formulation of the road maps to be in line with the DRAM.
Steward the risks management effort through the contract execution phase and maintain a clear, concise, and regularly updated risks register.
Steward and communicate significant risks, issues, and vulnerabilities through ERM process.
Review contractor’s risk management and issues management procedures and documents; participate in review of contractor’s compliance to LNG company policies and procedures.
Evaluate and advise project performance in the areas of risk management and lessons learned, ensuring the procedures are in place and followed.
Co-ordinates the contractor’s lessons learned process; counsels the team on the process and ensures both contractor and PMT capture the key lessons learned in each discipline.
Ensure that the NFW Offplot ERM risks in ARM are uploaded on a regular basis to ensure that the ERM requirements are fulfilled, without compromising corporate requirements
Maintains compliance with the LNG Project Management System (PMS) by managing the completion of the required PMS deliverables, coordinating and scheduling the Gate Reviews, and tracking all findings and observations to closure in accordance with requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, sciences, engineering, or supply chain management.
Knowledge and/or Experience
8 years’ experience in administration support, including at least 4 years in oil & gas industry, and including 1 year in supervisory or acting role.
Knowledge in project business related functions such as Gate reviews, Lessons Learned, Risk Management, and support services.
Experience in working within multi-disciplinary project teams in complex, high-value environments.
