We currently have an opportunity for a Business Division Manager. This position is based in Qatar onshore.
 
Contract duration – 36 Months
Work location - Qatar Onshore, Doha -Ras Laffan

Minimum requirements
Lead and manage all business-related aspects such as EPC contract management, non-EPC contracts, CAPEX procurement and related startup and initial operations (2 years) procurement, startup commercial agreements, planning and scheduling, project controls, reporting, vulnerabilities, cost, claims and change management activities across the Company LNG North Field Expansion (NFXP) Projects for EPC-3/4/BOP, ensuring alignment with stakeholders to meet project objectives in quality, cost and schedule.
Lead and manage all business-related aspects internally within the Company and externally with EPC-3/4/BOP Contractor such as Contract Management, Non-EPC Contracts, CAPEX Procurement and related Startup and initial Operations (2 Years) Procurement, Startup Commercial Agreements, Planning and Scheduling, Project Controls, Reporting, Vulnerabilities, Cost, Claims and Change Management activities across the Company LNG North Field Expansion (NFXP) Projects for EPC-3/4/BOP, ensuring alignment
Engage and drive project performance, KPIs and exception reports in an active manner, and direct and manage various action registers to identify critical issues in support of overall project management and with EPC-3/4/BOP Contractor and ensure completion of tasks. Lead where needed and influence positive resolution actively through coordination with the respective functional managers with clear mitigation options and contingency plans.
Manage the alignment between the various NFXP sub-project teams, providing information and resolving misalignment as required. Monitor interface agreements performance, highlighting and intervening in critical and underperforming interfaces to avoid any impacts to execution.
Develop the required Project Performance Management information, evaluating inputs from within the EPC-3/4/BOP project management team and shared resource organization as required, developing presentations and managing the various stakeholders and shareholder(s) with the aim of ensuring transparency, building trust and supporting informed decision-making. Provide oversight of contractor activities and pathway to completion of Company LNG responsibilities to achieve Project objectives.
Lead, motivate, and direct multi-disciplinary teams and functional resources as applicable (Operations Expansion and Support, Engineering and Projects Services, Performance and Delivery, Shared Services and Legal) to and seek their proactive contribution to meeting Project Objectives.
Engage and integrate across Company LNG functions such as Operations Expansion and Support, Engineering and Projects Services, Performance and Delivery, Shared Services, Finance and Legal to contribute to meeting project objectives proactively. Provide expertise and insights as a member of the EPC-3/4/BOP leadership team and engage with contractor senior management including sponsor level.
Ensure compliance with the Company LNG Project Management System (QGPMS) by managing the completion of the required QGMPS deliverables, coordinating, and scheduling the Gate Reviews, and tracking all findings and observations to closure in accordance with requirements.
Provide support and motivate the completion of the Operations Readiness Plan (ORP), ensuring assignment of all actions and monitoring the completion of deliverables. Coordinate and hold periodic status reviews, highlighting areas of concern for prompt resolution. 9. Lead the change management process and analysis of change orders for EPC-3/4/BOP, directing the preparation of recommendations or position papers as required. Oversee the risk management program through identification of issues, risks and trends, developing and tracking action plans to mitigate.
Guide, direct, and drive the preparation and finalization of all reports, presentation, notes to outside the Project Management Team for, coordinated with NFXP Onshore Business Manager: Steering Committees, Technical Committee, Tender Committees, P&D Planning reviews, etc.
 
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Communication, Technologies, Mathematics, and Statistics.
 
Knowledge and experience
Twelve (12) years’ experience in business function, including eight (8) years in the Oil and Gas Industry, and including three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/ subcontractors/service / vendor personnel.
Strong experience in a project execution related environment within the oil and gas industry with knowledge of project management, engineering including cost control, work planning and activity scheduling.
Experience of large green field projects with multiple EPC contracts and execution teams.
Extensive experience with oil and gas companies, EPC Contractors, Subcontractors, Vendors, or service companies involved in the oil and gas industry.
Broad experience and demonstrated competence in managing across all phases of project execution including start up and handover and managing technical issues.
Broad knowledge in project planning, scheduling, cost control, project gating system, project execution plan, risk management, change management, interface management, commissioning, and hand over processes/procedures.
Experience working in large scale operating organizations in operations, projects, subsurface, etc., and working in integrated organizations
Experience working in Qatar or the Middle East region.
