Business Development Manager – Wind
Location: Antwerp
 
Are you commercially driven with a passion for growing technical services in an 
international setting? Do you combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution?
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to expand and strengthen Wind activities across the Benelux region.
In this role, you will blend commercial leadership, operational coordination, and market 
development. You will be highly visible in the field — regularly visiting customer sites, 
coordinating on-site activities, and building long-term partnerships. Travel within the 
region, including occasional overnight stays, is a natural and energizing part of this 
position.
 
Your Responsibilities
You are accountable for both commercial growth and operational excellence within the 
Wind segment:
• Develop and expand business activities across the Benelux region.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
• Visit customer sites to support ongoing operations, strengthen partnerships, and 
identify new opportunities.
• Prepare and manage sales quotations, follow up on leads, oversee project execution, and ensure profitability.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and international colleagues.
• Identify customer needs and proactively develop new services and solutions.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and actively generate new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams and regional managers to ensure 
aligned and high-quality service delivery.
• Support marketing initiatives, trade fairs, and international business development activities.
• Drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and an outstanding customer experience.
 
Your Profile
You are a commercially minded professional with strong technical affinity and the ability 
to operate in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Wind sector.
• Strong commercial acumen combined with solid technical understanding.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and opportunity-driven mindset.
• Excellent networking skills and strong knowledge of the local market.
• Strong organizational and coordination capabilities.
• Clear and confident communicator across all stakeholder levels.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
