About the Role
As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving new sales and profit growth across the hydraulic product line in the Southeast U.S. This is a hands-on, front-line role focused on identifying, pursuing, and winning new business with end users and distribution partners. You’ll develop territory strategy, open new accounts, expand existing relationships, and uncover new market opportunities. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on hunting for business, building relationships from the ground up, and growing a territory through personal effort and commercial insight.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Growing sales channels by building strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and resellers.
- Leading and developing a small sales team, including external sales and customer support.
- Identifying new product opportunities and working closely with the wider business to bring them to market.
- Developing strategies to expand across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
- Working closely with global colleagues to align on strategy and share best practices.
- 7+ years’ experience selling technical products through distribution (hydraulics preferred).
- Background in engineering, business, or marketing.
- Experience building and managing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of distribution networks and how to grow them.
- Straightforward, open leadership style with a “hands-on” approach.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: resourceful, persistent, and commercially focused.
- Willingness to travel across North America.
