Regional Business Development Manager – Industrial Waste & Water Solutions
Location: Remote, Houston

With proprietary, field-proven technologies and a build-own-operate model, this company delivers site-specific, sustainable solutions that create long-term value for customers, communities, and the environment.
As they continue to expand their national footprint, they are now looking to hire a Regional Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth across a defined U.S. territory.
The Role This is a high-impact, hunter-focused role for an entrepreneurial individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a strong track record of technical solution selling to industrial and commercial clients.
The ideal candidate brings both the credibility and commercial acumen to originate, develop, and close complex deals, while building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate & Close New Business: Build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and convert them to revenue.
- Consultative Technical Selling: Translate customer needs into tailored solutions, communicating value across technical and executive audiences.
- Strategic Territory Planning: Create and execute go-to-market plans that drive visibility and growth.
- Market Insight: Stay informed on market dynamics, customer needs, competitors, and emerging technologies in environmental services and industrial water treatment.
- CRM & Sales Process: Accurately forecast and manage pipeline through CRM and ensure sales stages are clearly tracked through to close.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations, working collaboratively with technical and legal teams to ensure alignment.
- Brand Representation: Be a visible ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 7+ years of successful technical sales in industrial water treatment, environmental services, or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering) is preferred.
- Sales DNA: Strong hunter mentality with a proven ability to win new business through long-cycle consultative sales.
- Relationship Management: Skilled in building rapport and trust with senior decision-makers in industrial and commercial sectors.
- Communication: Strong presentation, written, and negotiation skills.
- Self-Starter: Able to work autonomously in a remote or field-based role.
- Mobility: Must be based near a major airport and open to frequent travel (40%+).
