We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Biologist II to join our clients collaborative research team at the Cambridge Research Center. This contract position plays a critical role in supporting early-stage discovery programs by executing a range of cell-based and molecular biology assays. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in sterile cell culture and molecular techniques, a willingness to work with human tissue, and an eagerness to contribute to innovative immunology research.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Biologist II to join our clients collaborative research team at the Cambridge Research Center. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in sterile cell culture and molecular techniques, a willingness to work with human tissue, and an eagerness to contribute to innovative immunology research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently design, plan, and execute cellular assays including:
- siRNA knockdown studies
- Cell proliferation and activation screening assays
- Maintain and perform sterile primary cell culture
- Conduct protein- and RNA-based analyses including:
- ELISA
- Western blotting
- qPCR
- Prepare samples and analyze data using flow cytometry
- Analyze, interpret, and document experimental results clearly and accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support assay development and troubleshooting
- Maintain high laboratory standards and comply with safety protocols
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in biology, immunology, or related discipline required
- Master’s (MS) or PhD in immunology or a related field preferred
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of hands-on laboratory experience in industry or academic settings
- Proficient in sterile tissue culture techniques
- Proven experience with ELISA, protein extraction, and Western blotting
- Skilled in RNA extraction and quantitative PCR (qPCR)
- Familiarity with flow cytometry and related data analysis tools
- Other Requirements:
- Comfortable working with human tissue samples
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
