The Bioresearch Center is seeking a dedicated and talented full-time contractor for the position of Biologist I or II to join the Immunology Discovery Dermatology team. The role involves the design and execution of in vitro and ex vivo pharmacology experiments aimed at defining the activity and mechanism of action of novel biotherapeutics and small molecules in mammalian cell lines and primary human immune cells. The individual will be responsible for experimental planning and execution, data analysis and presentation, and detailed data documentation.

The individual will be responsible for experimental planning and execution, data analysis and presentation, and detailed data documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and execution of in vitro/ex vivo studies using mammalian cell lines and primary immune cells to evaluate target biology.
- Perform primary immune cell and stable cell culture to support in vitro studies.
- Support downstream analysis, including flow cytometry, MSD, and/or ELISA as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures and data in laboratory notebook.
- Additional responsibilities include data analysis, interpretation, and communication of experimental results to cross-functional team members, as well as working in a strong collaborative atmosphere. Candidate should have the ability to develop and implement quality control measures for experimental procedures to ensure robust and reproducible datasets that support reaching project milestones.
- BS or MS in Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology or related field with 3-5 years relevant experience in academia or industry (Required) -PhD candidates ok but not ideal
- Experience in aseptic tissue culture techniques involving immune cell isolation/culturing and mammalian cell lines culturing (Required)
- Experience with flow cytometry and/or protein detection methods (ELISA and/or MSD), (required)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and good communication skills (oral and written) (required)
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within project teams (required)
