Job Description:
Orion Group is seeking a BIM Coordinator our client based in the Netherlands. As a BIM Coordinator in the Belgium/Netherlands region, you will be responsible for setting up various engineering tools within projects to ensure the correct data is used and delivered to our clients. You will collaborate with project management and multidisciplinary engineering teams on industrial projects, primarily in the chemical, oil & gas, energy, and food sectors.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, implement, coordinate, monitor, and control multidisciplinary engineering tools (e.g., 3D modelling, data management, and digital innovations) within the organization and projects.
  • Develop Business Information Management strategies and execution plans to ensure accurate data output for subsequent project phases.
  • Configure and manage the use of engineering tools within projects.
  • Coordinate BIM and 3D models to support project objectives.
  • Continuously develop yourself and the organization in data-driven engineering.
  • Establish, maintain, monitor, and control shared project data for all disciplines.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with stakeholders, ensuring smooth and accurate interactions while delivering high-quality work to meet client needs.
  • Stay well-informed about current techniques and technologies within the process industry.
 
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of engineering tools and BIM processes.
  • Experience with 3D modelling and data management in multidisciplinary projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work and client satisfaction.
  • Up-to-date expertise in process industry technologies.
