Our O&G Operator client is currently recruiting for the position of Aviation Coordinator on a 12 month PAYE contract in Aberdeen.
Brief overview of role:
Responsible for coordinating and managing personnel logistics for offshore operations, including maintaining accurate certification records in VantagePOB, managing rotas and bookings, arranging travel and accommodation, and overseeing offshore shuttling activities in partnership with Aviation Team.
Support aviation performance, compliance, and reporting, including reviewing operational data, compiling statistics and presentations, liaising with helicopter operators on service levels and KPIs, and ensuring all passengers adhere to Company aviation policies
Key Tasks / Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate passenger records in the VantagePOB system, ensuring all required certifications, such as medicals, survival training, and other Company specific compliance requirements, are up to date.
Support the management of offshore personnel rotas and bookings through the VantagePOB system, coordinating closely with all companies involved in ongoing operations.
Arrange onshore accommodation and travel for mobilising Company personnel and provide support for additional personnel logistics as required.
Coordinate offshore shuttling requirements in partnership with Aviation Team, ensuring seamless movement of personnel.
Compile, analyse, and manage operational statistics for internal and external reporting, including the development of presentation materials.
Review Daily Flying Reports, contract codes, and statistical information such as utilisation and on time performance.
Liaise with the helicopter operator to verify data accuracy and assess service levels and Key Performance Indicators together with the Aviation Principal.
Support adherence to Company aviation policies, working closely with the aviation operator to ensure full compliance by all passengers
Skills, experience & attributes:
Demonstrated ability to uphold Company values and consistently champion a strong safety culture.
Proven experience in a similar role supporting offshore oil and gas operations.
Comprehensive understanding of aviation operations processes and associated workflows.
Proficient user of VantagePOB and APEX reporting and experience in using Microsoft Office tools.
Strong analytical thinker with effective problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Compliance driven mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
