Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for an Associate Manufacturing Systems Engineer for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 6-month contract, with high possibility of extension. This is a fully onsite position.

Main Responsibilities of the role

  • Support the design, testing and implementation of technology solutions to improve manufacturing reliability and efficiency.
  • Integrate Systech systems into existing processes and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot technology systems to ensure continuous operation.
  • Document and train staff on new technology processes and systems.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology to support our manufacturing business.
  • Foster a continuous improvement mindset to optimize processes and systems.
Required qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in working in a manufacturing company in the area of information technology or operations technology.
  • Strong understanding of IT applications management
  • Experience in a GMP area and Packaging is highly recommended.
  • System Integration: Ability to integrate various systems and ensure seamless operation.
  • Troubleshooting: Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting systems; abstract, logical thinking.
  • Documentation: Skilled in creating detailed documentation and training materials.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Collaboration: Effective at working in cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Flexible in adapting to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Time Management: Capable of managing time and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in automation solutions.
  • Innovation: Creative in developing innovative solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Mindset focused on process optimization and improvement.
