Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for an Associate Manufacturing Systems Engineer for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 6-month contract, with high possibility of extension. This is a fully onsite position.

Main Responsibilities of the role
- Support the design, testing and implementation of technology solutions to improve manufacturing reliability and efficiency.
- Integrate Systech systems into existing processes and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain and troubleshoot technology systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Document and train staff on new technology processes and systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology to support our manufacturing business.
- Foster a continuous improvement mindset to optimize processes and systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in working in a manufacturing company in the area of information technology or operations technology.
- Strong understanding of IT applications management
- Experience in a GMP area and Packaging is highly recommended.
- System Integration: Ability to integrate various systems and ensure seamless operation.
- Troubleshooting: Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting systems; abstract, logical thinking.
- Documentation: Skilled in creating detailed documentation and training materials.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Collaboration: Effective at working in cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability: Flexible in adapting to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Time Management: Capable of managing time and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in automation solutions.
