Location: Mettawa, IL (Hybrid – Onsite M–W, Remote Th–F)
Contract: Through December 2025 (extensions based on performance & business needs)
$67-70/HR

Join Orion Group’s pharmaceutical client’s APS Operations team—an industry-leading organization dedicated to delivering exceptional patient support experiences that drive satisfaction, loyalty, and operational excellence.
We are seeking a Project Manager to partner cross-functionally across business, IT, and operations to execute critical initiatives, streamline processes, and enable innovation within APS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project management and analytical support to APS Operations and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, effective execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources using Monday.com or equivalent PM tools.
  • Partner with IT and business leads on reporting and data-driven initiatives to inform operational priorities and strategic decisions.
  • Develop and publish project communication plans, ensuring consistent and transparent stakeholder updates.
  • Create and maintain training materials, user guides, and SOPs to support operational readiness and compliance.
  • Analyze process and escalation trends, identify root causes, and implement process improvement strategies.
  • Maintain CRM license compliance and optimize utilization across teams.
  • Support knowledge management by organizing and maintaining critical operational documentation and resources.
  • Manage Five9 platform operations, addressing issues promptly to minimize disruptions and improve user experience.
  • Support additional APS Operations initiatives as identified by leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Operations, or related field preferred).
  • 3+ years of project management or coordination experience within operations, healthcare, or enterprise business environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while balancing strategic initiatives and daily operational support.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; able to translate data into actionable insights.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting tools for tracking metrics and presenting findings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational abilities, with a proactive approach and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing stakeholders, technology platforms, and process changes in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Five9, Salesforce, or other CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar project management software.
  • Understanding of patient engagement programs, healthcare operations, or life sciences processes.
