5AM to 3:30PM Monday thru Thursday.
$24-$27/hr
Onsite in Cincinnati, OH



JOB SUMMARY:
The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for the execution of daily tasks associated with the manufacture of pharmaceutical products. This is including but not limited to: the set-up of equipment, the performance of manufacturing steps according to formula and the disassembly and cleaning of equipment. The Manufacturing Operator shall also demonstrate the ability to understand and execute manufacturing directions presented in Standard Operating Procedures and Manufacturing Batch Records in compliance with a GMP environment. Assists in the training of other Operators and possesses the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process related problems.


Daily Tasks include: 
  • Successfully trains other Operators on equipment and processes. Assure that the team members have the necessary training to effectively participate on the team
  • Ability to lead the team to achieve production goals. 
  • Embrace the OPEX culture of continuous improvement by proactively providing suggestions and solutions
  • Line operation and utalization of batch records
  • Process electronic batch records and other documentation using SAP. As well as performing SAP transactions.
  • Disassembly and cleaning of Manufacturing equipment. 
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process related problems.



Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/mechanical environment. Experience in a GMP environment is preferred
  • Must regularly lift/move up to to 35 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lift/move up to 75 pounds assisted.
  • Employee must be able to sit/stand regularly for long periods of time.
  • Occasionally wear an air powered respirator (Tyvek hood and Tyvek suite) for some processes.
  • Other requirements include stooping and reaching to perform various job tasks and movement of skids using a pallet jack applying 30-75 lbs of force. Employee will frequently climb step ladders/platforms.
  • Computer systems and SAP knowledge must be able to process electronic batch records and all associated transactions in SAP.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills with all departments.
  • Able to work as part of a team and adapt to changes in work duties.
