Business Analyst - Strategy & Operations Associate
5 month initial contract
Remote: Any time zone (EST preferred) 
Hourly Pay Rate: $45/hr
 
Orion Group has partnered with our global SaaS client and is hiring for a Strategy & Operations Associate. This person will be tasked with transforming (via automation and AI tools) core operating processes for the Partner Integration team.
 
Their key goals will be to (a) eliminate manual processes and/or (b) significantly reduce the number of manual steps/time spent by technical account managers.
 
Key types of processes to be addressed:
  • Tracking implementation timelines/statuses
  • creating knowledge bases to train LLMs
  • building dynamic tracking of current accounts & how they are leveraging products and services and many more.
 
Skillsets Desired:
  • Operational Proven track record of enhancing process flows via automated solutions
  • Experience in project and/or program management
  • Proven success working in cross-functional product, engineering, technical and operations teams
Technical Software experience:
  • Platforms like JIRA, tableau/sigma (or similar dashboarding system), salesforce, confluence, asana
AI tooling experience:
  • ChatGPT
  • Google Gemini/Scripts Cursor
  • Hands-on working SQL experience to troubleshoot and self-serve data investigation
  • Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel
  • System integration experience preferred (API, ETL)
  • General Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must Have Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree required 2-3 years of work experience in operations role (IT, Tech, Consulting, Business Solutions/Analyst)
  • SQL, Jira, Sigma are required
  • Project Management background, someone who can manage multiple projects.
