Health and Safety Jobs

Health and Safety roles are some of the most important in the oil and gas industry. The nature of the business can be very dangerous and you will responsible for ensuring the safety of sometimes hundreds of people. Naturally this means that you’ll be a highly alert individual with a strong eye for detail. This is a position that can take you abroad, particularly to Russia and Caspian, although there are also many vacancies available in the UK and Ireland.

The qualifications that you’ll need for these jobs will vary depending on the type of position you’re looking at. For example an offshore role as an advisor could require a NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma and ideally an environmental qualification. You’ll need to be confident dealing with those around you and developing relationships.
