Golf fans will be able to pitch up at next week’s Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open for free in a regular shuttle bus running to the tournament venue Castle Stuart Golf Links.
Services run by Stagecoach will start at 6.30am from Inverness Bus Station and 6.10am from Inverness Airport. The buses will be operated free of charge having been sponsored by International recruitment giant Orion Group.
The service was launched at Castle Stuart Golf Links, where the European Tour event is being held from July 7-10.
Scott Burns-Smith, Marketing and Communications Director at Orion Group, said: “Orion have been working with the European Tour for over five years and we are delighted this year to be able to support an initiative that allows golfing spectators a little added value with this free service to the event.
“Leave the car at home and come and enjoy the best of Highland hospitality aboard the Orion sponsored double-decker bus."

Castle Stuart opened in 2009 and since then has achieved worldwide acclaim and has hosted the Scottish Open on three previous occasions between 2011 and 2013.
