The Role

Based in Doncaster, the Workforce Utilisation Manager will be responsible for supporting the operational teams to ensure engineering capacity is accurate and up to date. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring outside KPI's are factored in and plans are in place to mitigate SLA failures
  • Working closely with key stakeholder to execute and deliver SLA's
  • Working with various planning and scheduling tools to deliver productivity and maximum revenue efficiently
  • Predicting both short and long term resource/capacity plans through the analysis of historical trends
  • Monitoring and proposing effective shift patterns to match business requirements, optimising performance of all teams
  • Focusing on business improvements in a customer centric environment and predicting future supply and demand using a combination of predictive modelling skills, commercial acumen and business insight
  • Managing holiday planning, identifying resource gaps and making recruitment recommendations
  • Producing capacity reports, ready for analysis, providing insight into potential issues based on the data
  • Assist in the generation of campaigns through portfolio driven work to supplement dialling strategies

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in planning and/or dispatch
  • Good knowledge of workforce management systems
  • Excellent Excel and numeracy skills
  • Proven experience of working in a cross functional team to deliver a solution
  • Experience in an availability and capacity monitoring and oversight role
  • An analytical thinker who can analyse data
  • A people person who enjoys building relationships
