Our client is a leading service provider to Wind Turbine Generators across Europe looking to expand their portfolio here in North America. The Wind Turbine Technician will work nationally taking responsibility for:

  • Preventative and corrective maintenance on multi-brand wind turbines (Siemen's, Vestas, Gamesa, Nordex etc)
  • Completion of all relevant documentation (work order cards, checklists, AWPs etc).
  • Ensure all HSE procedures are followed
  • Replacement of major turbine components
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Assist in all areas of site operations
  • Provide safe access and egress to all people in the work party
  • Establish and maintain general safety from the system
  • Comply with internal Policies and Procedures and customer site rules
  • Report all incidents and occurrences as per company HSE policy.

Requirements:

  • Experience with electrical and/or mechanical equipment and or technical education, in an engineering discipline.
  • Ideally three years of hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical experience in an industrial environment e.g. wind farms, power stations, industrial process plant or similar heavy engineering maintenance environments
  • Valid driving license
