Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of WI Decommissioning PSCM Specialist, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
We need to plan for sanction and ensure that bids are ready to be issued by end of 2022. Tendering
templates therefore need to be compiled and rigid adherence to the ITT / bid receipt / evaluation /
RTA milestones must be de-risked by having an unconstrained PSCM specialist integrated into the
team.
The reason for this role is to lead the DEFINE stage PSCM activities, which include leading the
efforts in defining our contracting strategy, engagement with the market, leading the tender activities
and to place contracts. Key contracts that need to be tendered by end of 2024 are company's removal,
FPSO mooring and transportation, onshore location and various topsides 'making safe' contracts.
The wells contract will likely be placed in 2023/2024 however market engagement work is required to
ensure that the estimates for this work are known and understood.
There will be interaction with the regulator and various trade bodies as the project progresses, such
as with the NSTA regarding further development of the SCAP, and with OEUK and other bodies /
forums as appropriate.
This role will be funded and linked to the decommissioning project, however the role will
be embedded into the PSCM team and managed by the PSCM manager. The role may 'backfill' an
existing PSCM resource to free them up to take on this work.

Experience & Qualifications:
Solid industry experience, with exposure to UKCS sector, ideally involving PSCM decommissioning
project experience with an operator.
Degree qualified, with a commercial or legal aspect, and suitable supply chain qualifications
Likely candidate will have come from an E&P or a tier 1 company's execution contractor
A committed self-starter that will be expected to develop procurement plans, evaluation and selection
process procedures and tender work packages within PSCM and a small, focused team.
