Job description

Consultant WSL

Summary of Role

  • Responsible for all activity, HSE, operations and logistics at the well site for all related well activities with the goal of meeting or exceeding performance metrics, ensuring activities are consistent with functional processes and policies and external local regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports the senior site representative in overseeing contractor personnel to ensure that well operations are carried out in a manner that is compliant with relevant internal and external policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Reviews wells operations to ensure they are in line with industry best practice.
  • Makes decisions to stop the job and assess risk in the event of any changes to risk mitigation barriers.
  • Supervises daily activities of a team of contractors to achieve agreed objectives, and supports them with coaching and development.
  • Complies with Company's Code of Conduct and models Company's Values & Behaviors.

Mandatory Experience and certifications

  • Onshore workover experience, pulling units
  • Fishing, Wireline, CT, wellbore cleanouts
  • ESP, Gas Lift and rod pump experience
  • Well Control - IADC Wellsharp
  • OSHA - H2S
  • OSHA - Hazwoper training (8 Hour Course)
  • OSHA - First aid / CPR /AED with skills assesment
  • OSHA - Benzene awareness
