Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Well Services Supervisor based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:

* Ensures projects are delivered in full compliance with corporate policies, standards, procedures and guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements, and are executed safely and efficiently.
* Ensure adherence to detailed well intervention work procedures.
* Prepares and sends daily intervention report.
* Chairs daily offshore morning call with responsible onshore intervention engineer.
* Interfaces effectively with other offshore teams and offshore asset management e.g., OIM, Production Supervisor, construction, maintenance operations teams to efficiently deliver the well intervention scope.
* Ensure detailed operational risk assessments are reviewed and risks are managed and mitigated as appropriate.
* Captures and closes out operational lessons learned and tracking of NPT events.
* Preparation of End of Well Reports.
* Responsible for the maintenance of well intervention records and ensuring that any changes to well status as a result of a well intervention are noted.
* Provides support to the Incident Management Team (IMT) in the event of a relevant incident.
* Responsible for ensuring risk assessments are reviewed and all required actions are closed out.
* Responsible for ensuring change is identified during operations and that the appropriate MOC standards are followed and appropriate steps are taken
* Reporting to the Wells Intervention Superintendent
* Responsible for managing and optimising well intervention operations for each assigned intervention project
* A key safety role specific to well intervention operations that involves the successful management of teams both on and offshore.
* Manages an offshore intervention team around 6-8 contractors.


Experience & Qualifications:

* Highly focused on HSE performance with excellent safety attitude and behaviour.
* Delivery focused with positive attitude and behaviour, together with flexibility
* Strong communicator and good relationship builder
* Capable of working independently and as part of a team
* Commercial awareness
* HNC in engineering, technology or science discipline and considerable time served in a well intervention discipline.
* Considerable offshore experience in at least one well intervention discipline
* Proven track record of successfully delivering well intervention operations and managing offshore well intervention teams
* Experience of risk management techniques and processes
* Good understanding of interventions from LWI vessels.
* Good understanding of Completion well design and execution
* Experience of well integrity operations
* Level 4 - IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control
