The Role

Working in the Marketing team your primary responsibility will be to carry out web development for the company website. This will range from building campaign pages, improving mobile usability, delivering layouts based upon supplied designs, improving and enhancing on page elements and a range of other development duties including.

  • Building high performance front end applications
  • Collaboration with designers to build rich user experiences
  • Write clean maintainable code
  • Developing and maintaining coding standards and practices

Skills & Experience

  • Strong, current CSS, JavaScript, XML and HTML skills
  • Computing related degree or relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 year's experience in a front-end development role
  • Experience with responsive web development
  • Experience with QA Testing
  • Able to demonstrate their experience in contributing to the creative process & output
  • Examples of use technical knowledge to propose innovative solutions to creative problems
  • Experience building prototypes for user testing
  • Experience implementing A/B tests
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as GIT
  • Ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude
  • Desirable:

    • Aspiration for 'pixel perfect' front end development
    • Experience of working within an agile environment
    • Experience of working with Markdown
