Excellent opportunity for a Sales Professional

PRIMARY PURPOSE

* Develop and close sales opportunities across the UK by selling to both existing and new customers across all of our clients services lines including industrial services, emergency response, waste management (collectively referred to as services lines).

* Drive and directly manage the UK Sales team so as to achieve regional sales budgets while achieving repeat business.

* Work as part of a national sales team to utilise sales techniques and implement capture plans to obtain new project opportunities with the Corporation's target client base.

* Provide client advocacy, support and maintenance required to grow the Corporation's business relationship with both existing and new clients.

* Develop and manage senior level /corporate relationships with or clients top national accounts

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage all sales staff and related activities for the UK.

* Provide management, leadership, development and training for all direct reports as well as provide support and direction for related activities including customer service functions.

* Manage staff to meet and exceed all company goals and develop business plan for the region to grow its services.

* Participate and take an active role in our clients budgetary process establishing realistic and aggressive growth plans for all operations.

* Manage select national client accounts/relationships in target industries and geographies

* Generate new and develop existing business opportunities with key clients

* Procure contracts, agreements, MSAs and T&Cs, and lead effort in negotiating contract terms and driving through to implementation

* Communicate key issues, information, and opportunities with your UK sales team and influence sales strategies

* Communicate & integrate sales strategies and market opportunities with regional operations groups

* Develop and coordinate responses to RFPs, RFIs and bid proposals for key accounts and, as needed, support this need for other accounts

* Responsible for the successful acquisition of service line opportunities and the primary interface between the client and the Corporation during the proposal stage. This includes providing sales support and generally assisting with client interactions during business development activities.

* Responsible for sponsorship of opportunities through the proposal and project execution stages.

* Work closely with regional operational staff in the development and growth of both new and existing customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

* Minimum 8 years of experience in a directly related field and must maintain strong relationships with decision makers in target client sectors

* Experience managing a sales team and driving performance.

* Responsible for having an understanding of Corporation's operations and services lines so as to support the proposal and business development effort. This includes participation in most, if not all, opportunity reviews (proposal and estimates) and taking a lead role in the opportunity closing effort.

* Must be able to attend pre bid meetings, read and understand project plans and specifications. Assist with the estimating and proposals in matters specifically relating to the client or project

* Must have and maintain a valid driver's license

* Travel within the UK is expected as necessary including overnight stays

* Must have the ability to effectively and tactfully manage with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone and in writing

* Excellent customer relations skills are required

* Must have the ability to work independently and resolve practical problems, keeping all appropriate parties aware of issues or risks

* Must have a strong work ethic

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

* Demonstrated competency in the use of the Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and relational database CRM systems is required
