Treasury Assistant - Interim 6 months

TREASURY ASSISTANT is required for a leading energy business based in Victoria, London.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hands on, have the ability to use their own initiative and be a team player.

Duties

Daily Cash Flow
Perform daily cash reconciliation in cooperation with Treasury Analyst
Take ownership of daily group cash position spreadsheet

Funding Business Units
Receive, seek approval and process Cash Call requirements from BUs using the Treasury Management System (TM5)
Assist Treasury Analyst in collecting and updating Group wide bank account mandate database using TM5

Corporate
Assist BUs with banking related issues including electronic portals and manual mandates
Process ad hoc manual payments when required

Corporate Reporting
Prepare the month-end cash and bank reports
Assist the treasury team in other month-end processes

Bank Loan Administration
Liaise with agents to ensure all loan renewal documents are distributed in timely manner and TM5 is kept up to date
Make payments of Interest and other fees when necessary

KYC/ Reporting & Compliance
Assist Treasury Analyst with collecting KYC requests for banks/ lenders
Assist Treasury Analyst with undertaking the change in cash management banks; opening of new accounts; closing of existing ones and gathering all relevant documents and signatures
Responsible for getting all deal confirmations signed, logged and sent back to counterparties; log the trades in TM5 and ensure the Master Hedging schedule is kept up to date.

Assist in ad hoc tasks as and when required

Skills
Degree or certification in Accounting/ Finance/ Treasury would be preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Professional in both presentation & manner
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
