Travel Co-ordinator - 1 year FTC - Energy

Currently seeking an experienced Travel Co-ordinator/Administrator for a multinational Oil & Gas company, based near Uxbridge. Ideally experienced in a fast moving, high paced environment.

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate they have strong communication, planning and organisational skills. You be will adaptable, extremely proactive and wish to work in a demanding and challenging role, experience within the Oil & Gas/Energy sector is highly desirable although not essential.

This role is fundamentally to support the company in organising business travel for UK based staff. This involves working as part of the UK Travel Department and alongside a Travel Management Company to book flights, hotel rooms, rail, car hire and taxis.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient support by arranging business travel
  • Process travel requests for all staff from UK offices
  • Arrange flight, hotel, rail, car hire and taxi bookings
  • Act as co-coordinator between traveller and TMC to ensure compliance with travel policy and to review bookings to ensure most cost efficient method of travel is booked without negatively impacting business needs
  • Maintain logs of all bookings
  • Assist with the application process for business travel visas
  • Organise and assist with event transportation
  • Working alongside Travel Management company to arrange new travel bookings, amendments and cancellations
  • Liaise with Chauffeur companies to arrange ground transport
  • Record and maintain records of all travel bookings

Profile:

  • Microsoft Excel, Livelink and SAP
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Excellent customer service / people skills
  • Must be able to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Must have the ability to multi-task
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the business travel industry
