I'm currently recruiting a Transport Manager for a leading Distribution company based in Oban on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for an experienced Supervisor or Manager who is looking to relocate within Scotland for a greater quality of life. The role operates on a Monday to Friday basis with the working hours varying depending on the season, however, you would be excepted on site during standard office hours each day. Key duties will include:

  • Planning the daily routes for the drivers.
  • Managing the compliance reports.
  • Ensure H&S protocols are followed across the depot.
  • Carry out any necessary return to work or disciplinary processes.
  • Liaise with the local client base to ensure service levels are in place.

To be considered for this role you must be living, or planning to live, within a commutable distance to Oban as you will hold a key position in the framework for this depot. You must have prior experience of working in a supervisory or management role for a fast paced distribution company and be able to demonstrate your knowledge of the transport industry. My client will only consider applicants who hold their National CPC.
