Trainee Lab Chemist (Maternity Cover)

Our client is currently recruiting for a trainee lab chemist to join the team at their site in Aberdeen. Full training will be provided so this role would suit a recent graduate with a university or college degree in chemistry or similar subject. This role is laboratory based (onshore) and will involve;

* Chemicals selection test protocols relating to scale, corrosion and wax.
* Chemical residual analysis such as HPLC, ICP and knowledge and understanding of typical chemical QC protocols.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency with software applications including MS Office, e-mail clients and web browsers.
* Ability to interact with customers at various levels under limited supervision.
* Highly motivated, focused, hands-on, result oriented, strong drive for excellence.
