Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Tendering Project Manager, based in Aberdeen.

Roles and Responsibilities:
To ensure that all activities are carried out with the highest regard to the health and safety of all involved and to the protection of the environment and prevention of pollution.
To ensure that all work is undertaken to the highest quality and professionalism in accordance with the company Integrated Management System and project specific documentation.
To identify personal training needs, bring them to the attention of the department manager and to take full advantage of the training opportunities provided.
To liaise with Clients on a regular basis and develop sound business relationships.
To perform marketing of business line services within geographical areas of Company.
To liaise with other company entities in joint commercial activities.
To prepare pre-qualification and tender documentation in accordance with Company's IMS in consultation with
Business Line Managers.
To negotiate contract terms in consultation with the Contracts Manager.
Handover contract information to Project managers in accordance with Company's IMS.
Provide support to others in the Commercial Department.
Participate in the production of Department and Company plans and budgets.
Keep informed of the Company's capacities and capabilities in business lines and in general.
Tendering Project Manager Responsibilities for supervision of the Commercial Assistants to ensure that all schedules and deadlines are met.

Experience and aptitude more important than formal qualifications.
Relevant operational or commercial experience on projects encompassing offshore renewables O&M.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive with a desire to succeed and win business.
Ability to communicate with clients at all levels, internal and external, verbally and in written format, in order to build relationships and promote our services.
Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines, which at times can result in workload and time pressures.
Ability to triage priorities to ensure deadlines are met with deliverables of a high quality.
Knowledge of the offshore renewables O&M market.
Personable, self motivated and enthusiastic. Able to work effectively as an individual and in a team and meet tendering deadlines.
Willing and able to travel in order to conduct sales and marketing activities - conferences, exhibitions, client visits.
