Our client, as successful Civil Engineering contractor with a long history of delivering complex Energy & Marine projects is seeking a Temporary Works Co-Ordinator to add to the team.
About the Role
As the new Temporary Works Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that all temporary works on various projects are designed, implemented, and managed safely and efficiently. You’ll work closely with design teams, site managers, and engineers to make sure every aspect of their projects meets the highest safety and quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating all aspects of temporary works design and implementation on-site.
- Reviewing, approving, and issuing design briefs and method statements.
- Liaising with Temporary Works Designers, Site Managers, and Engineers to ensure compliance with BS 5975 and company procedures.
- Conducting regular inspections and ensuring temporary works are correctly implemented and maintained.
- Managing temporary works registers and documentation.
- Providing technical advice and support to site teams.
- Previous experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator or Engineer within civil engineering or construction.
- In-depth knowledge of BS 5975 and temporary works procedures.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and risk management.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- TWC training (CITB) or equivalent certification preferred.
- HNC/Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Required)
