Due to a new warehouse launch, an existing opportunity has to come to market with a leading Healthcare company, based in the North West of England. My client is seeking an experienced, Warehouse Operative who is immediately to start.

Key Responsibilities;

To control assigned day to day activities within the warehouse including receipt and checking of products, issue and despatch of products, product storage and stock rotation as specified;

  • Receive, check and locate products in compliance to procedures and instructions
  • Pick and pack products in compliance to procedures and customer requirements
  • Ensure that all documentation pertinent to the function are forwarded to the relevant department
  • Notify the Warehouse Team Leader of deviations to procedures
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping
  • Complete the daily mechanical handling checklist (MHE users only)
  • Ensure that working practices conform to health and safety standards

You will require the following;

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Ideally material handling experience
  • VNA experience would be a major advantage (but not essential)
  • Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Able to work within a small team and individually
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to follow and provide clear instructions

What's on offer?

  • Hourly rate - £9.00-£9.25 per hour + holiday pay
  • Average 37.5 hour working week
  • Ongoing - Initially for a 6 month, likely to be extended
  • Immediate Start - Start Date Mon 29th January
