We have a current opportunity for a Technical Training Instructor on a contract basis. The position will be based in Cumbria. For further information about this position please apply.

Responsibilities * The Training Instructor serves as a role model for safety performance and is demonstrative in setting the priority for safety in the training environment. * Delivers training (classroom, lab, skills centre, briefings, etc.) This does not include on-thejob instruction or assessment. * Effectively delivers training and student evaluations in accordance with the standards established in the lesson materials. Can effectively deliver in multiple training settings. * Effectively utilises appropriate techniques for engaging students to participate in meeting the learning objectives and adapts training delivery to the various learning styles of adult learners. * Effectively monitors and coaches students with learning challenges. * Effectively implements evaluation techniques of training materials including instructor presentation and training techniques (peer check), training effectiveness and training efficiency, and provides recommendations for improvement. Performs post-training assessments. * Enables an effective learning environment.

Accountabilities * To the Training Lead/Training Manager for classroom and student safety in the learning environment. * To the Training Lead/Training Manager for effective delivery of training materials in accordance with established standards in the lesson materials. * To the Training Lead/Training Manager for effectiveness and efficiency of training and making recommendations for improvement. * To the Training Lead/Training Manager to meet deadline dates for work activities and corrective actions.

MUST HAVE
Mechancical background/hands on experience with a trade as will be instructing on how to use plant equipment, Training will be provided so no need for knowledge of specific equipmet in the plant or Nuclear background.
