Job description
We have a current opportunity for a Technical HSE Assistant on a contract basis. The position will be based in Surrey, UK, outside of IR35.
This is with an operator and is an offshore wind project - 12 months+ duration.
- HSE Management System Development: Developing and implementing HSE requirements aligned with current standards and regulations.
- Training and Awareness: Organizing training sessions to familiarize staff with HSE rules and practices.
- Risk Management & Assessment: Identifying, evaluating, and managing safety, health, and environmental risks.
- Regular Inspections: Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Incident Management: Handling HSE incidents, investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports on incidents, audits, and corrective measures.
- Team Coordination: Coordinating between project teams and HSE services to ensure compliance and safety.
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of UK HSE regulations.
- Project management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and awareness skills.
- Team player and ability to coordinate HSE activities
- Excellent experience on HSE software/tools
- Experience in the Energy industry
- Knowledge and experience of CDM 2015 an advantage
- NEBOSH/Degree
- IOSH accreditation
