Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Technical Author - Operating Manuals, based in Aberdeen

Responsibilities will include:
Development of standardised layout/format/style of the operating procedures, and updating the necessary documents to incorporate such improvements.
Implementation of output of safety critical task analysis into Operating Manuals.
Creating new documents or re-formatting existing documents in accordance with Company specifications.
Using electronic document / information management systems and writing and preparing documentation in an easy-to-understand language.
Checking for style, structure, grammar, errors, syntax, punctuation and spellings in Technical Documentation.
Working closely with Discipline Engineers to ensure accuracy of the documentation and developing audit protocols.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline OR equivalent experience in North Sea Offshore Operations
Offshore certification - beneficial
