Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Technical Assistant (Production Performance), based in Westhill Aberdeenshire.

Responsibilities will include:
Preparation and delivery of production and production chemistry dashboards and KPI's.
Tracking of temporary equipment.
Interpretation and analysis of production / production chemistry data to identify and report areas for improvement.
Support the required production teams cost initiatives.
Support data retrieval from SAP to support lead engineer performance standard reviews.
Support the development of KPI tools.
Complete Lean Projects driving through site based initiatives to successful completion
Analyse cost data to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Experience
Formal engineering, scientific or technical qualification, typically to OND/HNC or equivalent and experience in a technical assistance role within the oil and gas industry.
Strong administrative and organisational ability so as to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of key reports and outputs at the required frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, annually).
Good keyboard skills with proven competency in use of microsoft standard packages (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) as well as other specialist software (PI, Bluebeam, Visio).
Numerate, have an understanding of the basic principles of oil and gas production and ability to carry out conversions of engineering units (barrels to cubic metres etc.) as well as a skill in the manipulation and production of graphs, charts and reports containing a variety of statistical data.
Strong team working skills as well as the ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally.
Good knowledge of Company procedures and processes
